About the Conference
Saturday, 10 October 2026, 9:30am - 4pm
Auckland, New Zealand
The Performance Mindset Coaching Conference aims to upskill coaches and support personnel with knowledge and practical strategies to integrate mental skills into their programs for optimised performance.
The Collective connects professionals committed to developing mindset in individuals, athletes, and teams. This inaugural conference brings that focus into a dedicated, mindset-specific professional development event for coaches, practitioners, and performance staff.
Athletes train hard, yet performance under pressure can still fall short. Coaches know mindset matters, but many lack clear, practical ways to develop it. This conference bridges that gap.
Focused on real-world application, the conference explores how mindset and psychology directly influence sporting performance and personal growth. Attendees will hear from leading New Zealand athletes, coaches, and practitioners who have applied mental skills in high-pressure environments and elite competition.
Participants will gain practical, foundational tools they can apply in training and competition, alongside powerful real-world insights that highlight where true success in sport is often decided — in the mental game.
This event is for:
- Club coaches
- Premier school coaches
- National coaches
- Mental skills and psychology practitioners
- Performance staff and those involved in athlete development
The conference will be held at the Centennial Theatre, Auckland Grammar School, on Saturday, 10 October.
